Dear Friends, “L’una e Cinque” is an Italian group of vocalists from Turin formed in December 1995. We have a variety of artistic backgrounds, but we are united by a common interests for choruses and vocal music. Our concerts are always a cappella and our repertoire programs  includes  classic vocal arrangements of the 1500’s, Jazz, Spirituals,  pieces and italian traditional songs and off course Christmas Traditionals in Christmas time. L’UNA E CINQUE has just celebrated his 10th Anniversary carrying out  “THE RENAISSANCE PROJECT”, their new record entirely dedicated to the European musical ferment of the XV Century. From Giovan Giacomo Gastoldi to Orlando dif Lasso, from Pierre Passerau to John Dowland. A collection of famous '500 songs of five different european countries. Italy is represented from a famous song in the traditional repertoire:" Il testamento del capitano" The lyrics was written in the '900 but the music in the renaissance period. The album has been introduced to the MIDEM 2005 and is distributed in Japan by AreaB.
